StubHub Music is now live in the App Store and available throughout the U.S., the UK and Canada. The app, created by ticket reseller platform StubHub, had a beta trial/test earlier this summer with music fans in San Francisco.
StubHub Music tells music fans when their favourite artists are in town by syncing with users’ music libraries and then making local live event recommendations from its extensive live event catalogue – one of the most robust and comprehensive in the industry boasting more than 100,000 listings for live events on any given day. Fans can find out about new events as they are offered in their city, buy tickets through the app, and learn about the venue. StubHub Music is also social, enabling users to share, email or message friends, inviting them to the show, complete with venue information and directions and the ability to purchase tickets through the app so you never have to go somewhere else.
The app is particularly convenient for discovering what sort of entertainment is around you while traveling. StubHub Music comes with an “adjust radius” feature that allows you to find out what’s going on within a certain area.

The app is available now in App Store. Sadly, there is no mention of the app coming to Android, BlackBerry or Windows Phone.
