It’s no surprise that Rogers has an exclusive on the Samsung Gear 2 Neo here in Canada, but their launch price when bundled with the Galaxy S5 might entice more users to purchase one this week!
While making my rounds of all the wireless stores in my local mall today to see the Gear 2/Gear 2 Neo in person, I was a bit taken aback to see that Rogers had a launch offer for the Gear 2 Neo. If you purchase and activate a new Samsung GALAXY S5 on select 2-year plans before June 12th (or while quantities last), you’ll be able to get a brand new Gear 2 Neo for only $49.99. That’s just shy of a 80% discount off the retail price of $219.99!
The Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo are practically the same device, with the exception of the Neo lacking a camera. If a camera on your wrist isn’t a necessity, then this latest wearable is a steal at that price! If you cancel the plan within 15 days, the Neo must be returned in good condition or you’ll be charge the difference in price, which is an extra $170.
