Oppo R1

Oppo has just recently announces its pre-orders for the Find 7a in North America, but we might see a version of the R1 with US-capable LTE in the near future. Fresh from FCC approval. the high-quality, low-cost R1 can now handle 4G data on T-Mobile and, to a limited extent, AT&T. It should also run quickly on Canadian providers.

The Oppo R1 is the cousin to the more powerful high-end devices, the Oppo N1 & Oppo Find7, both of which recently launched in the North American and Europe markets within the last Quarter.

Here are a few key features of the R1:

  • Runs Color OS (based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean)
  • 5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels (294 PPI)
  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • Quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3GHz
  • 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory
