Twitter Is Introducing New Profile Layout That Looks Like Facebook

 New Twitter Profile

It seems that expanding a social media network is an always evolving job with significant changes. We’ve recently caught word that Twitter will be starting to revamp their web profiles to a more Facebook-looking option.

The new web profile lets you use a larger profile photo, customize your header, show off your best Tweets and more. Here are main features:

  • Best Tweets: Tweets that have received more engagement will appear slightly larger, so your best content is easy to find.
  • Pinned Tweet: Pin one of your Tweets to the top of your page, so it’s easy for your followers to see what you’re all about.
  • Filtered Tweets: Now you can choose which timeline to view when checking out other profiles. Select from these options: Tweets, Tweets with photos/videos, or Tweets and replies.

This new profile setup is available since April 9th to small group of “important” users, but those creating a new Twitter account will immediately start with the new profile. The new features are expected to roll-out to all Twitter accounts within the next few week. In the meantime, give Weezer’s account a look to see how the new layout feels.
