With the availability of Samsung’s latest wearable devices only three weeks away, its not surprising to see the original Samsung Galaxy Gear being cleared from retailers inventory.
After last week’s $99.97 Fire Sale by Bell, it seems that Future Shop & Best Buy have both followed suit today here in Canada by offering the Samsung Galaxy Gear for $99.99, which is a strong $100 discount as Samsung’s first smartwatch dipped to a respectable $200 after Samsung’s new product announcement. There is ample inventory in all colours (Ivory, Orange, Black, Grey) but they’ve limited the checkout to 1 per user (Bell had offered 3 per user). At this price, you could easily purchase one to resell to someone overseas or South of the border.
