Samsung Galaxy S5 Officially Announced: Available April 11th

Galaxy-S5_Group Samsung has finally unveiled its newest Galaxy S flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S5. This device has a highly similar design to previous Galaxy S4 and SIII, but brings many innovation of essential features for day-to-day use. With its 5.1-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy S5 is for all intents and purposes an updated S4. The 2.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM will give you a slightly quicker user experience, but don’t expect it to be very noticeable of a difference if your previous device is the S4. The 16MP rear-facing camera should make you the next greatest photographer in no time at all. With the “world’s fastest autofocus” at 0.3 seconds, you won’t have to worry about having a blurry image with those quick shots you’re taking. Samsung has included 4k video recording with the S5, which they introduce last year with the Note 3. The Galaxy S5 is IP67-certified, meaning  its dust and water resistant. The long rumored Finger Scanner was included in this S5 build, providing a secure, biometric screen locking feature and a seamless and safe mobile payment experience to consumers. The Ultra Power Saving Mode turns the display to black and white, and shuts down all unnecessary features to minimize the battery consumption. The Galaxy S5 will be available worldwide on April 11th in four colors, including Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold. You can pre-order it in North America from AT&TBell Mobility, Eastlink, Fido, Koodo, Metro PCS, MTS, Rogers, SaskTel, Sprint, T-Mobile, TELUS, US CellularVerizon, Videotron, Virgin Mobile & WIND Mobile.
