Moto G Launching On U.S. Cellular For $99

Moto-G-USCellular

If you are in the market for a low-cost Android phone, US Cellular has announced that the Motorola moto G will be available in store for $99 off-contract on Feb 10th.

The moto G is the latest Motorola handset. Yes, U.S Cellular is pretty much price matching what Verizon already sells the Moto G for, but it’s an almost $100 discount from the cost of a global GSM models direct from Motorola. The downside, is that you’ll be surfing on the often slower CDMA network as opposed to an HSPA network. U.S. Cellular’s model ships with Android 4.4 KitKat – the latest version of Android – out of the box, and features a 4.5-inch 720p display, a 5-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

The Moto G can be paired with almost any U.S Cellular plan, so don’t forget to head out to your local store on Feb 10th or online to pick your own device filled with Moto goodness. Also, come back here later this week, as we’ll be reviewing the GSM-variant of the moto G!
