Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Is Now Available

Samsung has in a very discreet way launched the Galaxy Grand Neo on one of its websites today. The Galaxy Grand Neo is an entry level Android device that will target the lower budget consumers in emerging markets.

Here are a few known specs:

  • HSPA+ 21Mbps radios (No LTE, which indicates it won’t be available on major U.S. carriers)
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 5-megapixel rear camera
  • 5.01-inch display with an 800 x 480-pixel resolution
  • 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 2,100mAh battery.

The phone at this current time is only shown on Samsung’s Middle Eastern site, so looks like that will be the initial target area. Also a Dutch retailer has the device listed at 260 Euros, which may hint that it will be offered on a more global scale. We’ll keep our eyes peeled to see when and where this device makes its way to other world markets.
