Man Makes Electric Guitar from 1200 Colored Pencils

The most 'colorful' sounding guitar you'll ever hear.

Well, at least now we know it takes 1200 Crayola colored pencils to build a fully functional electric guitar.

We’ve seen a AK-47 guitar, and even a shotgun guitar, but never have we’ve come across a colored pencil guitar.

YouTuber, Burls Art, documented the entire process of what it took for him to make a fully functional guitar out of 1200 Crayola colored pencils.

In order to make this colorful Fender Stratocaster look-alike, Burls Art first used an epoxy resin to bind the pencils together. After lots of cutting, routing, patching, and sanding, he was able to achieve that signature Stratocaster shape.

For the final finish, he used 5 coats of clear enamel coating, and then added the chrome  hardware, electronics, and pickups to complete the project.

Watch the entire video above to see the entire step-by-step process, and a demo of the guitar being played.
