Youtuber, Jimmy DiResta, has taken it upon himself to transform an ordinary Ibanez and turn it into a AK-47 electric guitar clone, aka the “Gattar.”
In the video (see below), he shows the entire process of the making of the guitar in fast speed. Everything from what kind of tools he uses, to the intricate steps taken. He even makes a whammy bar motion that is controlled by the guitar’s gun trigger.
Known for his 40 years of experience using powertools, Jimmy leaves his viewers with a bit of advice…
“Please be practiced with your tool experience and don’t do the dangerous things I do on the band saw.”
