If you’ve always wanted to be one of the lucky individuals to own a pair of Google Glass, today might be your slim glimmer of hope. Until now, Google Glass has been quite an elusive device to won: you either bought one at Google’s 2013 I/O conference, or you had a friend who was there who did it for you. For one day only on April 15th, Google will allow anyone with a US shipping address to purchase a pair of Glass. Well, anyone with $1,500 to spare can purchase the headset. The availailabilty will start at 9AM Eastern time, and Google has stated that “the number of spots available is limited.”, which could mean that the availability will be in the hundreds. It is also unknown if this is a one time offer from Google or if users outside the US will ever get the opportunity. You can sign up for a 9am reminder from Google via their Glass website.
