Hisense is using all the Mobile World Congress hype to finally release their 6.8-inch MAXE X1 4G Smartphone. This unique smartphone to combine features of a handset, a tablet, a TV, and a set-top box into one mobile device.
The Hisense MAXE X1 will be running a Android 4.4 KitKat-based Vision UI, with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz processor and a gorgeous 1920 x 1080 pixel display for your viewing pleasure. The 13-megapixel rear-facing camera will give you crystal-clear images, while also providing HD (1080p) video recording. On the front of the device, you’ll find Two 5.1 Dolby virtual surround technology stereo front speakers, and three noise-canceling microphones that’ll give you a clear conversation.
The exact dimensions of the MAXE X1 are unclear at this time, but we do know that the X1 will have a 9.2 mm thickness. The X1 will support several multi-screen sharing protocols, including MHL, WFD, DLAN & Hisense Sharing.
What is interesting is that Hisense has included a 20 gram NFC-enabled MINI Bluetooth phone with X1 (pictured below X1 in image above), allowing near-field transmission between two devices, including receiving calls, sending and receiving SMS as well as swiping subway and bus passes.
You can expect to see the Hisense MAXE X1 hitting markets worldwide within the next 30 days, with pricing to be confirmed closer to the market availability.
