Google recently published their first monthly Android device share of 2014. Since December, Android 4.4 KitKat is sadly limited to just 1.4% devices. That number is based on the lack of availability of devices running KitKat, which currently consists of a few Nexus/Motorola tablets & phones. Android Jelly Bean has expanded from 54.5% to 59.1% of devices, making Jelly Bean the choice of Android OS for 2 of every 3 Android devices in use. The Android fragmentation lives on!
