The mid-range Galaxy Note 3 live on! GSM Arena has conspicuously posted some product positioning documents which display the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo.
This device seems to be a happy medium between the Note 2 and Note 3, with specs and features being a intriguing mixture of what is currently found with Note 2 and Note 3 . The Note 3 Neo will feature the Note 2’s display (5.55” Super AMOLED), camera (8MP), battery (3100 mAh), and memory (2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage), but the will integrate the Note 3’s radios, sensors, and OS (Android 4.3 Jelly Bean). One could assume from this information that Samsung bought too large of a pile of Note 2 internals.
Interestingly, the Note 3 Neo will have a distinct 1.7GHz Dual + 1.3GHz quad-core (Hexa) processor which isn’t found elsewhere. With the Mobile World Congress only a few weeks away, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this latest iteration of the Galaxy Note makes its official appearance in Barcelona.
