The Nokia Lumia 625 was officially unveiled to the world over half a year ago, but in a few short weeks Rogers and Fido will be carrying this entry-level Windows Phone 8 device.
According to an internal doc received by MobileSyrup, both carriers will be releasing the Nokia Lumia 625 on February 11th for $0 on 2-year contract, or $250 no-contract. The Nokia Lumia 625 will only be available in black, but interchangeable back plates in Orange, Yellow, Green, and White will be available for purchase from both carriers.
If you are not familiar with the Nokia Lumia 625, it is a entry-level Windows Phone 8 device that comes with LTE connectivity, a 800×480 4.7-inch display, 1.2Ghz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 5MP camera and a front-facing VGA camera.
The device has already been available via TELUS since last October, so it’s great to see another few carriers deciding to offer this device.
